    Questions about burners I just got.

    Just scored three 20 tip burners. But I have no clue if they if they are propane or natural gas. Can anybody tell? Also if they are NG is there a conversion for them to hook up to propane? Here's some pics.

    What to do with these hops? (Palisade and ctz)

    These are hops I forgot about in the freezer. I have 8oz of palisade and 4oz ctz. Any ideas what to brew with them. Hop busted pale or ipa? I also have lots of Amarillo too, but would like to use just a little.

    Accidentally pitched old yeast.

    So I was doing my thing making a Berliner Weisse and I had two vials of WL Berliner Weisse Blend. One new one and one that I had found in my fridge that had gotten lost. I accidentally pitched the old one that expired last may. What do you think is going to happen?

    Sour chamber got too hot! Help!

    Last time I checked my sours which I have more than 40g of, everything was fine and that was last saturday. I guess the temperature sensor fell out. So the past few days my beers have been sitting in an insulated box with the heater on constantly. They are HOT! and the box was around 100-105...

    Skeeter pee problem

    I have a couple batches of this stuff BUT on one batch I forgot to add the last bottle of lemon juice when I added the rest of the yeast energizer. How off will this be if I add it when I back-sweeten and keg?

    I travel quite a bit. Mainly the south and east coast. Anybody know any craft beer stores that have anything from them? Most shops carry it but never have it. I also sent an email to Shelton Bros and am waiting to hear back.

    How long will rhizomes last?

    Just received 25 rhizomes the other day. Got 6 of them in their beds but don't have the time currently to get the rest in the ground. How long will they be able to stay in the fridge. Btw the bags have some moister in them.

    Adding rose hips in secondary?

    I'm brewing the Anchorage Brewery's Love Buzz clone. It asked for 3.5g of rose hips but I don't have any and the only place (whole foods) is 35+ miles. Brew day is already going so there's no stopping. Can I just make a tea and add it when I get them?

    Using yeast from secondary/keg?

    I have a yeast shortage problem. I have lots of belgian and bugs starters, but no regular ale yeast till my pale ale is ready to be washed. Now I just finished a keg of stout and it has some yeast cake in the keg(wlp 001), could I use that yeast make a starter ( I have a stir plate)?

    How many shoots to a string?

    I know that 3-5 shoots per plant is recommended. But if I have 2 strings coming down per plant can I train 2-3 a string?

    Sour pale with brett L stuck!

    I have a pale ale batch that I brewed in december. I brewed 4 gallons and did something different with each one. The o.g. was up in the mid .060's. I pitched a half of vial of WL brett L into one. Almost 4 months later I sampled for the first time and the o.g is .038. Its been in my temp chamber...

    Bells yeast starter Fermented too hot?

    I had a bells starter on my stir plate and forgeting my ferm chamber is at 75 right now I put it in there. The stater smells pretty estery. Can the yeast still be used?
