    Mojito Skeeter Pee?

Yes, a 5 gallon standard skeeter pee batch, with 96oz of total lime juice instead of lemon.

    Mojito Skeeter Pee?

OK, so it's been like 4 1/2 years since I posted the original question about mojito skeeter pee. I finally made it late last year, and bottled it today. And it's spec-frigging-tacular. Standard pee recipe with 100% lime juice instead of lemon. I smashed -- muddled? -- one of those little...

How many gallons of EdWort's Apfelwein have been made?

Just started a 6 gallon batch from pressed apple juice from my buddies orchard. Can't wait! 25,202 + 6 = 25,208

How many gallons of EdWort's Apfelwein have been made?

10 more gallons! Half my pantry is just storing Apfelwein! 24,679 + 10 = 24,689.

Raspberry Melamel (Bronze Medal winner at 2010 Great Arizona Homebrew Competition)

I made this recipe a year ago. The yeast stalled out at ~1.010, so I didn't sorbate and backsweeten. Well it looks like the yeast fermented a little bit in the bottle -- not blowing any corks, thankfully. I cracked a bottle last night, and it was lightly carbonated, and AMAZING. It was tasty...

    Blueberry Mead

You stir the must of a fruit wine because that keeps the floating fruit wet. If the tops of floating blueberries dry out, they could potentially rot or mold. Anyways, I made my 2nd batch of this several months ago, added a few vanilla beans in 2ndary. When we bottled it, the vanilla was...

    Mango Pulp Wine

Got a batch of this aging now... at it's last racking I gave it a taste, it's crazy good. It stalled out at 1.010, right where I like it. Might bottle it in a few months if I can stand it that long!

    Edwort Apfelwein Yeast Experiment

6+ months in now, any results?

How many gallons of EdWort's Apfelwein have been made?

Filled up my 75 page spiral notebook I use as my batch log. Wouldn't you know it, my 75th batch was yet another batch of Apfelwein! 23,220 + 6 = 23,226.

    General Concentrate Wine

I ferment everything at 75F. Some yeasts don't mind it higher or lower, but all the ones I use like it at 75.

    Blueberry Mead

Yeah, I was impatient and rushed my first few batches. My first mead was in 2ndary maybe 2 months. I bottled it when it was clear. Still came out really tasty. It's a year old now, we cracked a bottle the other day and it was insane. ;) Here in western WA, it's not too warm most of the year, so...

    Blueberry Mead

I've made this twice now. Turned out silly good both times. I would add most of the blueberries in primary. Save maybe 1 lb and add them in 2ndary. More than that, and theres so many in the carboy, they just sit on top and don't steep in the wine. Oh, and I froze my blueberries, thawed them...

    Banana Wine

Yeah, it's crazy to think that what looked like baby poo 8 months ago is a great clear golden brown color now. God I'm hoping it's mellowed by Christmas, I want to drink it so much!

    Banana Wine

I made a batch of this that I'll bottle soon. Started it back in December, and I just racked it for probably the last time. It's a crystal clear golden brown color. And it tastes fantastic -- a little hot from the 14% abv, but no bitter peel taste. Just tasty tasty banana flavor. Can't wait till...

    "Cuties" orange mead

You can scale most any batch up or down for whatever size carboy you hav available. 3 gallon, 1 gallon, 5 or 6, just take whatever recipe and multiply/divide the ingredients.

    Vanilla Blueberry Mead?

The wife and I bottled this last night. It's quite tasty, a little hot, with a strong vanilla taste. I might cut down on the vanilla a bit next time, but it's still good. Can't wait till it ages a little.

    Skeeter Pee

I've made tons of Pee; I aerate it when I mix up the must, then once a day until the 50% sugar break (and last nutrient/juice additions). I've never gotten a fart smell out of it. :-( Same with my Apfelwein. :-(

    Black Plum Mead

Heh, it's still in the carboy. We last racked it in... February I think. The same I took was quite tasty then. I imagine its amazing now! The wife and I did a bunch of rackings today, we're going to bottle a couple batches in a week or two, including this one :-D This is the longest start to...

Mixed up a batch with fresh squeezed Meyer lemon juice last night. Can't wait! 1115 + 5 = 1120.
