    My 2 Year Quest for Pliny the Elder

    I have never tried a Pliney but Hopslam is probably the best ipa i have ever had. If someone wants to trade me a Pliney or two or three I would be willing to trade some hopslam, i have some union jack also that is a great beer.

    You say you have fresh fruit, why not make wine? It is simpler than beermaking in some ways.

    I brewed a clone of this beer last week, cant wait to try it. It is a kit from high gavity brewing in Tulsa if you want to check it out. Its called Old st. nick ale. It smelled awesome.

    Ale Fermentation Temps

    In a related question. How long do you need to mantain a lower temp. for fermenting? If you are going to leave it in the primary for 3 or 4 weeks can you raise the temp to 75 - 80 after say a week?
