I was looking into these "hansen valve" kegs too......I'd be interesting in hearing any feedback on them also. I'm hoping the standard ball lock connector will fit just the same on these.

You can definitely get away with doing a tower......I think part of the reason why a lot of people construct a collar is because you can fit 5 corneys and a 5# CO2 once you build it up. The other thing you need to address with a tower is that you will need to make sure you get the cold air up...

alright, here are some updated pics. I will probably be doing one more coat of chalkboard paint since i've spilt some brew on the top already :drunk:

I just finished mine yesterday. I cut the weatherstripping also and used silicone to hold it down and seal up the corners.

I actually only have one 6.5. sorry man. I think I saw that someone had a pic of that though for the GE 7cf. Thanks for the props on it though. I'll have more pics soon.

Thanks! I primed it with Gripper. I've done 2 coats of paint and will probably do 1 more because i've dinged it up along the way.

Electrichead.......where did you find the 7/8" metal hole plugs. The closest I can find is 3/4.
