    $5.00 False Bottom Plan

I am looking to move into all grain so I have been researching building a false bottom and this thread is great. I do have a question. John Palmer says this in chapter 17 of how to brew, "Another extraction efficiency problem that needs to be considered when designing your tun is preferential...

    Beer From Only One Brewery?

Nice. Most those laws are about the state controlling the supply so they can control prices and taxing. I lived in PA for two years and that is what all their laws were about but since it is outright making it illegal and not some other form of control it may be about the idea thqt someone can...

How do you guys move your carboys around?

I have a brew hauler and it works great. I wouldn't trust a rope contraption just because rope is round and can slip easily. Brew haulers are cool cause they're flat and once you have them on tight they aren't going anywhere. They are not that expensive either.

    What's your profession?

Pastor in a Presbyterian Church. This post reveals that Homebrew Talk has all it needs for a self sustained community. If some sort of breakdown in society happens where should we all agree to meet to form said community?

    bottle labels

I think an overnight soak is a good idea but I have found some breweries use impossible glue and overnight does nothing more than a few hours. In this case I used a non-rusting brillow pad (steel wool). Took off the label and glue after about a 20 min soak in dish soap. Rinsed them real good...
