    Efficiency adjustment

I didnt think about milling it again. I do own a barley crusher. For some reason, their crush seems to have a LOT of flour to it. I dont think I ever get that much. Maybe because it was crushed then shipped.

    More Problems with my LHBS

I have a siimilar problem. There are two homebrew shops within 20 miles of me. One has limited supply, only mainstream stuff, and charges 33% or more than what I can buy it for online. The owner is good, but it is geared for more of the start up brewer. They don't stock much stuff so they...

    High grapefruit taste IPA

Last night I had a growler of IPA from a somewhat local brewery that had a very pronounced grapefruit taste. It was an awesome balance between high hops and malty base. I would say that it was somewhat similar to Rogue's Yellow Snow, but with more grapefruit taste. Can anyone identify the...

how long to keep cold prior to co2

I am in somewhat of a rush to produce a beer for next week. I brewed a batch five weeks ago. 3 weeks in primary, one week in secondary, and then i put the secondary in the fridge for a week. I just racked to the keg. I hit it with co2 to fill the airspace, and then turned off the gas. I...

Thanks for the recipe suggestion. I put it in beersmith and it comes up with only about 40 ibu's. I would probably add a little more to get it up to 60 or so.
