    Wet shaving thread.

Nothing is as relaxing as a quiet shave with a straight after a long day. Just take your time and speed will come. Some people say just start out with your cheeks until you get the hang of that but I went whole hog and did everything but I also carve vegetables for a living so working with...

    Co-brewing in Columbus

I'm near where 750 and 23 meet. One job is at the Stelzer Road Giant Eagle, the other is at a restaurant at Polaris. Time is my biggest issue. :/ I have a fair amount of equipment but not what Dolomieu has.

    Do you have a beard?

Sporting a true handle-bar mustache :) close enough to a beard right?!

    Favorite steak

Ribeyes are too expensive around here right now... Strips are pretty meh in my book. I've been buying whole top butt sirloins and carving them up. After trim/waste they are coming out to about $5.75 a pound. These have all been choice or prime. :) I sear them off in a cast iron skillet with...

    Wet shaving thread.

I shave like a champ every day. 3 passes great lather, the works. It takes me less than ten minutes and don't cut myself. If I'm using a straight I may take 15 minutes... I used a mach3 when I was travelling last fall and I don't want to use one again. I got a better shave with it after...

    Best bags for curing?

    I use lexan containers.

    Wet shaving thread.

I don't have to have all the things with shaving. I have one DE, one brand of blades, one brush, a handful of soaps, one aftershave, one strop, two old straights... No need to spend a lot but I can see myself staying with the AOS soap. The puck is lasting out! If I go through more than one a...

I'm growing out a handlebar mustache with a petite goatee. I bought some Art of Shaving soap on closeout and haven't used any other soap since I got it which is really surprising! It is good stuff. Pity they changed the formula- I hope the new stuff is as good.

Did you save your first homebrew?

I have a 12 oz bottle of my Heff sitting on my desk. I'm not going to drink it. The yeast looks gray and if you swirl the bottle it does not look good. It has settled a lot now and it looks fine until you look at the color of the cake.

Almost used to the beard and mustache again. Still shaving the neck. I want to shave it all but I really want some mustache curls!

    Madison, SD Brew-together!

The area really couldn't support my field... despite people wanting nicer restaurants in Madison and Brookings, they just don't go over well.

    Steelhead?

Just use the stems from the parsley. Same flavor, no color.

24 pounds of dry cured belly bacon (pic heavy)

I'm drooling over the vac sealer more than the bacon ;)

I shaved at night after working 18 sweaty, humid hours. That shave hurt! It could have been a dull Shark Chrome blade along with the Eton College. I'll find out today. I'll try it again but with a fresh blade and before work.

With Storms in the mid-west and it being ground from SoCal I'm not really surprised. Kind of surprised but I went with Fedex shipping over USPS to save six bucks shipping.
