    no i havent seen the y.t. thing, whats it called? i understand what table sugar is. i know you can prime with dme. my question : is corn sugar or dextrose available any where else besides lhbs under any other name?

    the sugar thing is confusing to me. is the priming sugar i buy at my lhbs dextrose, and is dextrose really just cane sugar? if there bagging up 1 lb for $$, im thinking like alot of ingredients i can find it elsewhere, called something else for$. what about confectionary sugar? its says sugar...

    A short rant.

    rent the co2 tank. 3.00 month for 20#. lowers the start up costs to when you can afford it. a 20# can be very forgiving when your learning.

    ive added 1/2 oz of fuggles to a red. used a grain bag.

    could some please review this or point me in the right direction. i want to try this in a batch i just racked to the secondary. will there be a significant difference? are the amount to be used less? is it the prefered method of the more experienced brewers?

    what is the maximum amount of times a cake can be repitched. started light and am moving darker. have repitched 2x, can i keep going? keeping hops and grains somewhat similar.

    Kegging question??

    i treat my kegs like big bottles. prime it 1/2 cup and use some co2 to seal it and then store it a room temp. a few days to a week before its number is called a hit it again with co2. the refridgerate. works for me everytime.

    yeah, i noticed my turkey tasted slightly differnt, so i spent alot of money to get a stainless pot and everyone said it tasted so much better....................? if your that anal ..............

    not sure about the rice thing...can u explain heres my recipe 9 lbs lme 12 oz honey 32 oz corn syrup / via krogers(listed NO vanilla) 1oz brewers gold 1 oz centenial 1 lb cara foam 10 gallons/2 ale pales just moved to secondary looks/smells great

    trying some lighter styles for different reasons. been using corn syrup and honey to make it big. whats the best way to make a big, light ale ?
