Came across this post as my pump was flaking out. As described earlier by @MarkII, I simply disassembled, confirmed all looked ok, then put it back together and BAM!, started working again. Not sure if it's a permanent solution, but it beats sourcing a replacement pump for the time being.

The Danby DKC146SLDB holds (3) as I have one of those. I just don't know if there is a funky shelf (or something odd) in the DKC146SLDB that prevents a 3rd from fitting. Still looking for a confirmation...

I usually follow-up my use up with a run/flow of BLC through the lines.

The lines I have in the picture above are maybe 5' at most. Foaming isn't too bad... it depends on how far I've wheeled it around I guess ;)
