Thanks a lot! Yooper you are awesome. One more stupid question: the minimal order for crystal is 1 pound. Is it OK if i end up using 1 pound 20L and 60L each? Or shall I strictly follow the recipe?

I've brewed the pliny the elder clone kit from AHS. And there are some leftover hops: 3/4 oz centennial 1/4 oz simcoe 1/2 oz columbus Can someone advise the best way use them? Thanks!

alright - Sams club 40 qt alluminum stock pot worth a shot. This one is cheap enough (~ $33) to be a starter kettle. I may upgrade year later if the size works well.

thanks - the instructions from many brewing store use top off approach. do i get a significantly better beer if i don't top off? I can see why you prefer 10 gallon pot if you don't top off.

Patrick - can i have your reason why you want a 10 gallon pot? I am going to buy a 7.5 gallon kettle for partial 5 gallon brewing too.

Good tips! I'm newbie too. My goal is to run two taps and currently only have two kegs. I plan to get another two. For now I have two 6 gallon better bottles and will do primary to keg only. I am wondering too if this can keep my pipe line running smoothly so I can always have two taps running...

well - i just like to update that i finally received the replacement keg for the order that had a broken post. But unfortunately the replacement is still missing a short tube for the IN post. Wrote back on Thursday night and Todd promise to take care on Monday. The CS is definitely responsive...

Ditto. Great service all around. I bought a two-keg system with CO2 tank last year. Just found out one keg post was broken and I sent an email to Todd Sunday. One replacement keg was already on the way by the end of Monday. Wow!
