Is it infected? This would be my first one, but it was bound to happen at some point. Some of the floaties are leftover trub that came through the siphon because they were floating in the primary after being moved, but now there are alot of white patches. See pics...if it is infected...

Hey guys it's fall and my first shot at pumpkin ale didn't go all that well. It's finished and carbed in the keg and now I am faced with a dilemma. It seems to have little pumpkin or spice flavor. Overall it's a decent brew, but you really have to reach to taste any of the things I added...

So I poured in my sparge water while making my pumpkin ale and began stirring (batch sparge). I noticed I couldn't feel the toilet supply line filter with my spoon. After some though and feeling around, realized it was disconnected from my hose. I tried to get it back on but it wasn't happening...

So in my kegerator I have major chill plate ice. Like 1-2 inches on the whole thing. My question is less about how to fix the ice and more about is it actually an issue? Other than it sticking out a bit is it really a problem? Thanks all.

So I'm cold crashing a honey blonde right now and here's my question... When ready to siphon to keg should I pull the carboy out of the fridge and let it settle overnight, or pull it out and siphon while it's still cold? I can't siphon from fridge because of height (it's my kegerator)...

Is this actually possible? It seems like most people talk about aging their brew in either a keg or bottle. To me that means they have already carbonated or are in the process of carbonating. So would extending your secondary "clarifying" stage count as aging, even though the beer is not...
