    Wyeast 1084 and Banana Esters

    my basement is cold and the stick-on thermometers on my glass carboys only said 64 during peak fermentation and i still am smelling really strong banana from the bubblers. this is from a dark sweet stout i'm working on. hopefully that dissipates after while.

    We were working on a carrot wine... I am usually very good with asepsis but with this carrot wine we had to let the carrot pieces (10 lbs of them... Organic and sweet coreless ) sit for a day to extract the juice with enzyme.... After water and yeast addition everything started ok then things...

    Green Tea beer recipe

    i've got a farmhouse ale with some extra hops and almost an ounce of green tea added after i turned the burner off for a few min... sampling from the primary after a week reveals one hell of a bite, the tea is there in the aftertaste. I'll let you know what happens.... also go get yourself...
