    The control panel controls both the HLT and the boil kettle. The HLT is controlled by set temperature on the PID and the BK is controlled by by the PID by setting the element output between 0-100% to control the boil.

    My boil keggle is bottom drain with the tri-clover on the neck of the keg (1/2" piping). I use Jaybird's 15" level three false bottom. Works great, easy to clean (toss it in the dishwasher after rinsing) and no more hop spiders to clean. Electric BTW.

    Keg/Carboy Washer

    I gave up using this set up for cleaning my kegs because it just wasn't cleaning the krausen ring on my sanke keg fermenter. I've been using the carboy cleaner for kegs from http://www.carboycleaner.com/. It works great, a lot less work too.

    Any way to speed up the brew day?

    My typical brew day takes 4 hours for a 10 gallon batch (have dedicated HLT, MLT, Brew Kettle, and march pump) from start-up to clean up.     Keg/Carboy Washer

    I've noticed with my keg washer that it works great on corneys, but it isn't able to break the krausen ring on my sanke fermenters. Anyone that uses sankes as fermenters had this issue? I still have to brush the inside krausen ring on the sanke to break it up.
