    Sam Adams Hopology 12 pack

    You can get IPA & brett in Anchorage's Bitter Monk. Ommegang makes BPA, a Belgian Pale. Green Flash Rayon Vert. Chouffe Houblon Dobbelen IPA Tripel is interesting. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor is pretty easy to find. These are all hoppy Belgian styled brews.

    Which means others say squeeze the crap out of it and don't worry. I've done both with no noticable difference. My method is to apply moderate pressure to the lid but not over squeeze. I'll then leave it in a roasting pan for a few minutes to collect any excess. I generally lose much less...

    I do this for all brews, even 14 pounders (Only have an 8 gallon pot), though they do cut it close to the edge sometimes. That pic is from yesterdays 8.8lb Surly Bitter clone.

    Squeezing should be fine. No worries about tannin extraction, just remind people that it may stress the seams of the bag which in turn could lead to a rip (usually at the worst possible time). So squeeze gently and at your own risk...
