    oatmeal hard apple cider?

    im kinda new at this too but i have done a few partial mash beers and i think you should steep the oats at a temp of 150 for about 20 to 25 mins. I could be wrong but this would be my suggestion. Now you little experiment sounds interesting though. I would be interested to hear how this came out.

    so the cider is fermenting. I got the 2.5# of honey and 1# of light brown sugar. i ll do the spices in the secondary ive decided. the OG was 1.076. So this could be a pretty good little cider for my first as long as i can get it down real low. Hopefully i can be real patient And now i wait.
