    @Conman13, 2 PET 6.5 gal containers fit perfectly in my 7 cu. ft. GE. The PET big mouth bubblers as well, with room on the hump for a blow off container.

    One (hard lesson learned) bit of advice...these work amazingly well, and go from ferment temp to cold crash with the push of a button. BUT!!! remember to take the blow off tube out of the container before cold crashing or you'll find out just how much nasty water can suck back into your ferment...

    Twice I've cold crashed a ferment without removing the blow-off tube from the water container. Nothing like the taste of 3 quarts of iodophor and water sucked back into 5 gals of beer to force me to take my time and read my worksheet before proceeding...

    Batch Sparging: How Long do you Stir?

    +1 for stirring hard for 5 minutes, with a water temp high enough to raise my mash to 160F. Double sparge this way with a good vorlauf each time and I consistently hit 85%. I like that it's very predictable and repeatable batch after batch.
