    Why add hops at all if its only 3-8 IBUs? I tried searching for an answer and found nothing. Does it relate to Reinheitsgebot? Thanks!

    Temp for high gravity beer

    How warm can you let fermentation get to help push the yeast to the end? I have a barleywine at 27brix (1.115) and I'm down to 14 brix (1.057). My goal is 1.020. The fermentation has been at about 62 for a months. Would letting it warm up to 70 or greater be bad to push fermentation?
