    Good Starch Conversion

    So I brewed NB’s Multi-Grain Red yesterday. I hit all my numbers (mash temps, pre and post boil gravity, volumes etc..) based on what the recipes and my software (Brew target) told me. So is it safe to assume that I got good starch conversion? Or do I need to post more information? Should I...

    Mini-mash or full AG

    So I am thinking about brewing my first AG batch, but not sure if I should make my first a mini-mash or just jump right in and do a full AG??? The equipment I would need is a cooler if I do a full AG, which really isn't a big deal. My thought was to go mini-mash just to get the general concept...

    What type of CO2 do I need

    Just got a kegging set up and I am calling around to get the tank filled. Some of the places are asking if I need "Food Grade"? Do I need food grade?? I guess I thought co2 was co2. Whats the differance does it really matter???
