    Rescuing grape vines

    If they've been cut down to ground level it's possible that you could be growing rootstock which won't produce good wine grapes if any at all. Most decent wine grapes that I know of have to be grafted to disease resistant rootstock. Not really sure how you could tell without letting them grow...

    Question regarding koelsch fermentation temp.

    Thanks so much for your input guys. I took a sample and its at 1.013. The recipe calls for an og of 1.052 and an fg of 1.014 so i guess its pretty close to finishing. Maybe wait a couple more days then transfer to the fridge?
