    eBIAB Schematic Wire Sizes

Thanks for the reply. I've been living under a rock and didn't know that this type of controller existed. I'll need to do a little bit of reading to see how this controller works. It sounds like a very viable option especially since I'm trying to stay as cheap as possible.

    e-BIAB protect brew bag

I'm looking for some creative ideas on how to keep the brew in a bag from contacting the heating element. I've seen that some bayou classic pots come with a stainless basket which I assume would work but I'm interested in other ideas. Thanks.

    Hop Age

I've got some vacuum packed hop pellets that have been stored in a -2 degree F freezer for 3 years. Should I just age these hops and adjust the recipe accordingly or just replace them?

    Growler Fill?

I'm going to my first growler fill tomorrow and I'm bringing my own 2 liter growler. The growler will be sitting in my truck all until I get off of work. Should I keep starsan sanitizer in it and just ask the growler filler to empty just prior to filling or just sanitize and keep it sealed? Thanks.

    Pre chiller for plate chiller

Thanks. The main purpose of the thread was to discuss whether or not geometry makes a big difference in a pre chiller. Could I just leave the copper coiled up or should I spend the time to tighten the coils and separate so that is resembles an immersion chiller?

    Pre chiller for plate chiller

I have a 25-ft copper immersion pre chiller that I use with my plate chiller. I brewed last week in 100 degree texas heat and I was only able to the wort temp down to the mid 80's. This was using a very low flow rate from my march pump. I was thinking about adding another chiller in series. I...

DELETED LINK. Sorry, I didn't realize this was a Classifieds ad. I use these for grain storage and they easily hold a 55 pound sack.

$5 off PL Kegs, 5% off ALL Keg Kits + MORE! - Kegconnection.com

May I please have a code for the new kegs? Thanks. Also, I found a typo on your website. It is in the "Detailed Description" of the "3 Gallon Kegs, NEW, Ball Lock". The size states: 16.5" tall X 8.5" Wide. 6LBS Empty which I assume should be 6.5" tall X 8.5" Wide. 6LBS Empty

    Traveling and Serving from Keg?

Thanks for the info. It really makes me want to invest in a 2.4-5 gallon keg to rack to for serving. That would easily fit in a cooler.

    Traveling and Serving from Keg?

I have an event this Friday which I have volunteered to bring 5 gallons of homebrew. Any tips for last minute planning on how to travel with and serve from a keg? The only idea I have is a trash can filled with ice to chill and bringing the 5 lb CO2 tank with me. Thanks in advance.

Ready or Not E-BIAB Here I Come....

Can you tell me what size of knockout punches you used for the for the heating element, ball valve, and sight glass? I'd like to use the harbor freight punches but I'm not sure how the size relates to actual inner diameter. Thanks.
