The 5 gallons are for secondary... I already got 3 used 6 gallon carboys. Then read if I do I put my beer into secondary I should use 5 gallon for that.

just ordered a sierra nevada clone extract kit from homebrewgear canada so hopefully i will get it soon and get brewing. i picked up 3 -5 gallon carboys today $10 each.

Can you use copper for the gas supply lines? They use copper for natural gas in houses now.

I just got the 2 roller crankandstein mill for christmas and I noticed while handling it that it leaves black residue on you hands. What can be used to clean this that is not gonna cause the steel rollers to rust or impart bad flavours in the beer.
