    Nothing but light under microscope

Do you have the condenser up to the slide or do you have it lowered 2/3 to all the way down? You need it lowered to see the yeast. Too much light will wash out the yeast and you can't see them. Then start with your lower objective and work your way up. You should be able to see them. :mug:

Doing First AG in the Morning - Advice or Pointers?

Well, I learned alot from my first ag brew. My effeciency was 72%. My SS braid was destroyed though, so I think I will be building a copper manifold for my round igloo 10 gallon water cooler. I also learned that once you get your boil to going, turn the propane burner down. I started with...

Doing First AG in the Morning - Advice or Pointers?

Thanks for the advice. I have already told myself that this first ag beer might end up tasting like crap and that's fine with me. I am more about learning my equipment this first time and getting my technique down and just enjoying brewing with some friends. If the beer turns out great, then...

    Kegconnection

Just thought I'd add my two cents to the kegconnection thread. Had a great experience with them. Called Ben because I wanted to upgrade to the dual taprite regulator instead of have the air manifold. He fixed me up over the phone and in two days I had my two keg setup. The kegs were very...
