    The Impossible?

    I've got a homebrew comp that needs the entries in 3 weeks. If I put it up on Sunday 10/21, can I enter a simple Graff in the competition? Recipe is very basic... 3 gallons cider, 4 lbs DME (amber), 1 oz Cascade, 2 gallons H2O, and Windsor yeast. What do you folks think? DoAble?

    Is there a 1 to 1 substitution for DME and LME? For example if I was to use 6.6 lbs of LME would I use 6.6 of DME if I did not have the LME? Always wondered...

    Left with rotten sticks...

    Quick Kegging Question

    Got some new kegs and coincidently have a nice stout ready to bottle/keg... PROBLEM- no CO2 or gauges or hose,etc. My question can I still add priming sugar as I would for bottles and just sit on this and let it naturally carb up? Thanks for the input!

    Oak Barrel Secondary

    Turkey Fryer Deals

    Struck in a bottle

    So here's my quandry... 2 weeks ago I bottled a nice Chocolate Cranberry Porter, however after sampling yesterday(18 days after bottling) ZERO carbonation... only a faint "fzzzt" upon opening the bottle. I reviewed my notes and I think I only used ~1/4 cup priming sugar instead of 3/4 cup...
