I always look for a SA Harvest pumpkin clone to compare with but never find anything. Here is what I think may work but have not brewed it yet. The SA site says it is 33 SRM, that would be black. I think they mean 33 EBC which is 17 SRM Recipe: Harvest Pumpkin TYPE: All Grain Style...

    Terrible Efficiency with Braumeister

I agree with you. when you stuff the malt pipe with grain your efficiency goes way down. I also saw you used some flaked adjuncts also which will slow the recirculation. I just had a similar issue with a weizenbock with 6 lbs of wheat malt. For big batches I split the grain and mash twice in...

i NEED DFH punkin ale clone

1 1/2 tsp of spice is good for 5 gallons. The recipe above lists table spoons which is way to much for 5 gallons. You can add a little more in secondary if there is not enough but it should be subtle not all up in your face.

    Speidel Braumeister (brewmaster)

I have to disagree here. It is a tool to make more consistent beer. The art is making a recipe and consistently brewing it again and again. The control lets you accurately do mash steps at the proper temperatures and is programmable to your recipe. Do you use your camera in manual mode? No...
