New Jersey 10 gallon Ball Lock Corny Kegs Spartanburg Challengers

Few tire kicker messages but these big guys are still available. Great for fermenting or for the homebrewer with a single tap tower or limited keezer space.

New Jersey 10 gallon Ball Lock Corny Kegs Spartanburg Challengers

** SOLD ** I picked up a few 10 gallon ball lock kegs today and I am willing to part with a pair of them to help offset my cost. The price is $135 each and I am not looking to ship them you need to come to me or at least get close enough for me to meet you. I am just inland of Sea Isle...

    Slanting yeast

Obviously it is hard to say what went wrong. How old are the slants you are using? The only thing I can think of that I do differently is I don't keep the slants all in a bag together where moisture can build up. That said it shouldn't make a difference if the caps are tight....

Android Controlled Electric Brewery Part 1

I have been thinking about picking up this shield that has 4 onboard relays plus a bee socket so you could use it with a bluetooth xbee or a wifi xbee. Would be a nice configurable item if you wanted to be able to switch to wifi for greater range...

    Foaming issue with jockey box

I agree with this make sure it is clean, the other thing is make sure you run some beer through it before adding ice, if you add the ice first and have any water still in it from flushing it can freeze inside the pass and cause foaming... You could also try the epoxy mix sticks that others are...

    Arduino Based Beer Monitor System

Making any headway with this? I have been checking out the kegbot but this would be a nice interim solution until I can get that all setup....

    Fire extinguisher keg

I would stick with the stainless, just wash them out really well. My father who was a fireman said they used to put a little bit of antifreeze in theirs during the winter. I wouldn't be surprised if others did this as well....

Building a Shed. Need some help

Do a search on some solar attic fans, they are usually not cheap and you will have to swap out the thermostat for an on/off switch but it should suit your needs. Make sure you find one with a battery backup as well or look for a solar light controller to add into the loop.

Home Brew Dispensing Mobile Command Center Build

Your spray foam is going to get water logged unless you have some means of sealing it.

    10Gal Corny Keggle?

Don't do it, sell the keg and buy a kettle... There are not many 10g kegs available and depending on condition you should be able to get $75-$125 for it...

    Jockey Box

$20 seems kinda steep unless you are supporting your local home brew store... I only paid about $10 each for mine from BeverageFactory's ebay store... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kegco-Beer-Shank-2-Draft-Keg-Tap-Kegerator-3-16-ID-/130687861722?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e6d9a83da

    Jockey Box

Yeah 5 or 6" should be enough to jumper them together, just make sure the tube doesn't kink too hard as that could create foam as well. As for sealing the drilled holes I used shanks on both the back and the front, that way I could disconnect all hoses and keep them in the jockey box.
