    How much priming sugar do you use for a gallon of beer?

    Experimenting with flavors

    I just made 5 gallons of an oatmeal stout. I want to put one gallon in a secondary glass carboy with vanilla and another with bourbon soaked oak and vanilla. Do I have to put the rest in a 3 gallon container or can I leave it in the primary fermentation bucket?
