    The layer is about 1/4 inch, and the bottom of the jug is about 3 inches radius. Its clear all the way from the top of the sediment up. Basically it looks the same that before i put it in the fridge

    Sanitizing March pump, CFC, hoses

    hi...question... if I sanitize the pump to use the pump from mash to boiler...and then from boiler to carboy through the chiller... do I have to sanitize again in between?? Same question if I re-use some of the equipment on the same day.

    OK...so in summary...I leave everything as is...with the following modifications 1)In MLT turn on burner only to raise temp to the desired then turn off. 2) Never stir when vorlauf 3) Temp at 165 is fine for now 4) Use the 6 gallons, if after boiling I have less than the 5..i just add a bit...
