    American IPA Hopslam Clone

I wouldn't. This is an IPA and should be mashed lower for less unfermentables.

    Strong Bitter Common Room ESB

Just brewed this up after taking a break from brewing. This is a great recipe and would recommend it to anyone looking for a well-balanced ESB. This was my first ESB (not tasting, but brewing) and I'm afraid to move away from it or modify it because it's just about perfect. Thanks for the recipe!

    My 240V Build Thread

Is there anyway you could post the actual build sheet excel file? I'm trying to read some of it, and it's a bit small to read.

    Electric brewing on a budget

Cut my kegs open yesterday! I had very limited tools (a drill and a jigsaw), but I managed to get decent shaped wholes cut. Now to order a step bit, and some weldless fittings!

    Electric brewing on a budget

The house I'm moving into was built in the early 1900's. Judging by the appliances in the kitchen and the hot-water radiators throughout the house, it's not going to be GFCI protected. Can this be DIY? Or do I need to hire an electrician to install that for me?

    Electric brewing on a budget

Unfortunately I don't have any of this information, as I am moving out of my apartment at the end of this month. I plan on turning one of the rooms in the basement of the new place into my "brewery". There are a washer/drier down there, so I'm assuming there is a 240v outlet. I have no qualms...

    Electric brewing on a budget

I have acquired three sanke kegs and would like to start getting parts together to go all electric. Every thread I've seen that lists parts and prices is usually well above what I'm willing to spend. Without factoring in a brewstand, what can I expect to spend on an electric setup? I won't need...

    American IPA Hopslam Clone

Just kegged this baby up after a week of dry hopping. Put it right next to a real Hopslam and the color was spot on. It tastes amazing. For the record, I was lazy and just used the lb of corn sugar per the original recipe posted, and decided not to mess with the honey. I'll definitely be...

    American IPA Hopslam Clone

If I'm replacing the 1lb of corn sugar with honey, it's not just 1:1 is it? I'm assuming I'd need a little more than 1lb of honey to hit the same OG?

    American IPA Hopslam Clone

This will be my next brew for sure! Thanks for the recipe.

Anyone have a REAL lion's stout clone?

I am also excited to see the results from this brew (one of my favorites, and only $4.99/6-pack at my corner store). On a side note, never try Lion Imperial. It's absolutely disgusting, and tastes like malt liquor.
