How long is too long ~ New record?

I have a beer that's been in the secondary for 8 months (I think it's Northern Brewer's Phat Tire clone, but I honestly can't remember). It's at my buddy's apartment, so I haven't been able to keep an eye on it. Time got to be a major issue for both of us, and it was hard to find a time when...

    Label and logo feedback

I agree. It seems like a confused theme, with Uncle Sam and the German text. I think you should either stick with an American theme, or consider a German icon for the mascot. Maybe Hammered Hitler? Alcoholic Adolf? :drunk: The labels look great, though!

    Subtle Sipping

Right now, I'm enjoying a beer in a library. Childish as it sounds, I gotta admit that breaking the rules makes it taste a little better. I'd like to take a survey on where the other good, adventurous spots are. Where is your favorite place to sneak an illicit brew? Sneak a couple into the...

    First brew, and worried

Wait, are you saying that there is a lot of trub in the fermenter right now? Yeah, I guess that looks like trub. Trub is a byproduct of fermentation. Unless there's something else going on here, the fact that there's trub in the fermenter suggests that fermentation has already begun...

    Tasting pre-fermented wort

This is one of my favorite things about brewing. I love tasting the beer during the various stages, and taking notes on how the flavor changes as it matures. Speaking of which: I'm going to visit my family in about a month, and I'm really looking forward to tasting some beers that I left...

    New label for CJB Brewery

I love it! I think there's something missing from this section, though: "This secret Bilgewater Family recipe was lost in 1654 but was found untouched the soiled trousers of the exhumed corpse of Capt. Jack himself." was it found untouched IN the soiled trousers of Capt. Jack?

    APA Label

I enjoyed the story about your other friend, so I'm sure I'd find this one hilarious! Won't you reconsider, and share with the group? Cool idea for a series of labels, btw.

    Start spreading the brews

I love the name, David; Thanks! Here's the updated version: I tried to keep the newspaper theme going with a press release at the bottom. What do you think? Is this too cluttered? Thanks! :mug: Edit: caught a couple grammatical errors . . .

    Start spreading the brews

I'm moving from Washington to New York in about a week and a half. I made an english strong ale that I'm going to give to friends and family as sort of a going away present. Here's what I've got so far: I wanted the masthead to look kind of like the cover of the New York Times, I don't...
