I'm not surprised. The malt bill is a rounding error compared to the hop additions. And more malt means more hops which means MOAR FLAVOR which means HUGE SALES NUMBERS! right?

I personally have had significantly better experiences running lagers at room temperature than getting something lager-like from kviek (though I used Oslo for the most part). It'll certainly make beer though!
