    not quite sure

    so i did my first all grain on friday. the mash, sparge, and everything went well i think, the wort tasted sweet. boil went smooth, even cooled it with my new chiller. moved it into the fermenter friday evening pitched the yeast at about 70 degrees. maybe could've been a little more...

    using a secondary fermentor

    how much yeast if any should i carry over into the secondary fermentor... i was very careful to not bring over any... and my OG was 1.046 and the last was 1.016 both temps were 68-70f so will it gain any more ABV than 4.05% or what? this is 5 days into it. also the fermentation seems to have...

    light in color irish stout?

    this is my first brew, it tastes great but is not really as dark as i had hoped or thought... we did a grain and extract recipe, we followed all directions but it care out very light...should we call is something else or just drink it and stay with Irish stout?

    lots of bubbling...normal?

    i know lots is good but this is kinda ridiculous i can't keep any liquid in my airlock, it dried out during the night and i poured some Gin over the airlock and poured some into the bubbler chamber i=but it keeps blowing out any thouhgts jonah
