why would they remove my review?

The sad part is that I still gave it three stars...I didn't say it sucked, just said I probably wouldn't brew it again as I thought the body was thin and the taste one dimensional. Three stars is hardly worth pulling IMHO. They have a kit guarantee, that if you don't like the kit they will...

why would they remove my review?

Thanks Teromous and passedpawn for the kind words! I mostly do all grain BIAB brewing, but needed something quick, so I ordered the kit. I've got 4 other one gallon kits to brew, and I'll review those as well. I was just disappointed with all the other favorable reviews that it got, I thought...

why would they remove my review?

no, I actually film all my brew days and I followed the instructions to a T...this ain't my first rodeo. I went back to review my brew day to see if I HAD messed up, and if so, I was going to change my review...that's how I found out it was gone. I wanted to see exactly what I had said about...

why would they remove my review?

I recently brewed a beer from a kit that I ordered from a company who I won't mention the name of, but I wasn't that impressed and left a mediocre rating..which they removed. There was no foul language or anything of that nature. They did contact me by email AFTER the review was pulled and...

    SWMBO being COMPLETELY unreasonable

take the bone, put it in a plastic pail ( ice cream bucket ) cover with ammonia and let it sit for a week or so to get the fat out. Switch the ammonia out once or twice.. take it out and wash it off good when it's not floating grease anymore...wash in hot water, let dry. get a hair bleaching kit...

    30 min mash conversion

I know this beer was chugging away about two hours after I pitched the yeast.

    30 min mash conversion

I think perhaps with the thin wort, the higher temps that I mashed at the the style of beer I'm brewing, that the short mash time would work. With other styles, such as belgians, I definitely think the longer mash is beneficial. I normally do mash for 60 min, but I like to try different...

    30 min mash conversion

    30 min mash conversion

I checked at 10 and 20, but really wasn't satisfied that it converted, but the 30 min was a definite...when I went to clean up as it started to boil, the equipment was good and sticky, so I know there were sugars present....also my fingers stuck together! LOL :D

    30 min mash conversion

Did an experimant this weekend while brewing my all gain stout. I did an iodine test every 10 while mashing to see when conversion took place....30 min is what I got with the maris otter that I used. I use the BIAB method. Just wondered if anybody else has timed their conversion time, and if...
