Beer engine "cellar" chamber solutions - photos, please

Following! This is on my project list. Currently, I only use my engines during the "winter" months. I just clamp the engines to a table and leave the pins under the table. I've also used an engine at a beer fest with a cask wedge setup and the pin sitting in a barrel with some ice.

    My home-brewed keg washer

Is that an adjustable pipe that you have from the base of the bucket to the sprayball? I have my pipe/spray ball setup for corny keg washing and when I have a pin laid on the side like your photo above it's too tall which means I rig up some blocks to raise the pin up.

Connecticut Maltose Express is NOT(?) closing. What LHB shops remain in CT?

Yes, I always call ahead, especially if I am looking for yeast or a full sack of malt.

    Homebrew Con 2024 location?

Yes! Stop by the Knights of the Mashing Fork tent and say Hi. I'm planning on bringing at least one real ale in a cask to be served with a beer engine. Last year's event was my first one and it was a blast. These are the types of events that I'll direct my energy toward supporting.

    Homebrew Con 2024 location?

My first reaction to the news of combining Homebrew Con with GABF was "Forget that". I'm not very interested in attending GABF with that many people, I want to be able to make a connection with people that have a strong interest in the same hobby as me. I attended Providence in 2019 and brought...

    West Coast IPA Feedback

Sounds like you enjoy similar American IPA's that I do with a lot of dankness, citrus and pine. I go for a bit more bitterness than you are looking for but I wouldn't change your hop bill, that looks like it will get what you are looking for! Your malt bill looks similar to my IPA recipes...

    Ordinary Bitter Boddington's Bitter

Woah that's quite the session there... our Gunners had a successful outing but it was a bit early to get into a session this side of the pond.

    Group buy New England ?

Our club is the Knights of the Mashing Fork based in the Manchester / Vernon area with some members from a bit further out. We typically do a bulk grain order together 2x a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. The order also covers our needs for our brews on our club system. I'm not...

I recently joined up with a club in CT and they do a bulk purchase together 2x a year. Might be something other clubs do as well?

    Konadog's Keezer

Love the EVABarrier tubing, been using that for a few years now throughout my brewer, keezer, jockey box, and beer engine. Cleans so nicely as well. Think you'll be really happy with that change.

    founders red's rye ipa clone

Was one of my favorites and I picked it up often when grabbing beers at the store. Did something similar to this a year ago but I should dig up my old notes and do a brewday with that recipe. It was a crowd pleaser and went way too quickly. Good luck with brew day!

    Anvil Foundry Mash Eff

I haven't done any electrical upgrades to get 240v over to my brewing space so I'm still at 120v. I pre heat all my mash and sparge water in the Foundry all at once and then collect the wort into a different kettle before transferring it back over to the Foundry to boil. Yeah, it's extra steps...

    Anvil Foundry Mash Eff

This is similar to my current setup with the foundry and my reasons for purchasing an electric unit. From time to time I still do a BIAB inside the Foundry for ease and to do a quick batch. Eventually I suspect I'll end up using the Foundry as a dedicated HLT or second running BK.
