Minnesota 1.5" Tri Clover Compatible 90° Elbows

I purchased these quite some time ago but never ended up using them. I figure it is time to clean out the parts drawer. I'm pretty sure I purchased all of them from brewers hardware . com ($15.00 each) but only three of them are etched with the BH logo. 50 dollars shipped for the lot...

Minnesota 3 way 1/2" npt ball valve - l flow

I redid some things on my rig with a third pump and no longer have need for my 316 stainless ball valve with three input/output ports. These were all purchased from brew hardware . com (36 dollars each) and are all the L flow design. Each is in great shape but each has had the handle shorted...

Avice: Take a look at my yeast starter

I am brewing a Russian Imperial Stout with an estimated original gravity of 1.108. Using Wyeast 1056 and a 2L starter Beersmith calculates 417 billion cells (and it calls for 394 billion to be needed). This is the first time I've brewed a big beer so I have always done 1L yeast starters. I...

    3/4" MNPT threaded Camlocks?

Does anyone know of any sources for 3/4" male threaded camlocks? Whether the camlock is 1/2" or 3/4" doesn't matter much to me. I have a couple of ball valves that are 3/4" FNPT and I'd like to avoid the need for a reducing coupler. Everything I've found are 3/4" female threaded. Thanks!

Beer Draft - A new approach to the traditional beer swap

Like all of you I have a fondness for trying new beers. I would consider myself far from a beer snob as I’ve had more than my share of macro beers but I do enjoy a good high quality beer any chance I get. It was with that desire to try new beers that I launched the idea of a “beer...

    Minnesota Keggles

No longer using this, hoping someone else can put it to work. A bit dusty but in fine shape. Keggle #1 Bottom drain keggle, makes for a great mash tun. Includes stainless false bottom with hinge and handle. $150.00 Lighting is pretty bad on this photo, makes the keg look very dented, it is...

Forceps, silicone hose and cam locks?

Anyone use anything like a locking forceps on their silicone hose to keep the hose from leaking when they switch to a new hose configuration? Even when I'm super careful I still get a little drip here and there and makes clean up that much longer. I was thinking I could clamp and switch...

Electricians: Help! 240v power supply to 120v Element help

I made a mistake and had my control panel wired up with three L6-30 240v outlets to heat my heating elements. My plan was to run my boil kettle and hot liquor tank with 5500w stainless elements I purchased from brewhardware. For my RIMS tube I purchased the same 5500w element but had...

Favorite brewing items you can purchase at Ikea

Everytime I walk through Ikea I seem to find something that would be useful in my homebrewing setup. My latest find was this It is designed for spices but I picked up two of them and am going to use it to hold my hop pellets for brew day. I buy hops by the pound so I'm always measuring...

Bottom Drain Kettle - Tri-clover Position

I'm in the process of switching from my keggle setup to Concord stainless kettles. I'd like to go bottom drain for these and was curious if anyone could see any reason why I wouldn't want to mount the bottom drains off center? My thought was that having them off center would allow me to...

Pump Setup - Will this work?

I'm getting ready to order parts for my pump setup and have been trying to figure out the best way to run everything while factoring in trying to disconnect as few of things as possible. Was hoping someone could take a look at my setup and let me know if this would work. I color coded the...

Pot or Kettle Handles (where to buy)?

I have converted a keg into my mash lauter tun and will be using it as a bottom drain. So instead of having the pre-cut handles on top they are now located at the bottom. I'd like to install some handles similar to what you see coming on most boil kettles or cooking pots. I've looked at...

    1/2" stainless coupling (longer lengths)?

I'm going to start using a bottom drain keggle for my mash tun and in doing so I purchased a tri-clover conversion kit from brewhardware.com. The issue I've run into is that the setup only drops a couple of inches and based on the design of my stand I need it to be even lower. The...

    Control Panel Layout Advice

Hoping to get some feedback on my panel layout before I start punching holes in this thing :D The angle of the camera makes it look a little off, and I'm eyeballing where my marks are but overall layout critique is much appreciated! The first row is switches for my two pumps (on/off/auto)...

Minnesota Returnable 12 ounce bottles - w/case - donation only

These are old school returnable bottles, built to last. Come in the original cardboard box which makes for great storage. All are labeled, need to be soaked in oxiclean and cleaned before use. This could turn out to be a terrible idea but instead the hassle of trying to sell them outright...

Two Pumps: Mount them together or apart?

Silly question but I'm in the process of designing my new single tier brew stand. My previous stand had just a single pump which I mounted in the middle of my stand. For my next stand I'm going to add a second pump. What's everyone's preference on whether you should mount the pumps side by...
