Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I honestly used to know enough several years ago about that topic. I do know corn meal/grits/polenta is fine to use. Just watch the sodium content, they sometimes like to add salt in them.

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

Umm...no that's false. It's the same corb, the thing is you can't use it because of the oils present in corn on the cob in it's current state. Don't do it, use corn meal or maize flakes. On your typical corn on the cobs there are oils present in the kernels. Those oils will ruin your beer.

    Pac Man Yeast

Sorry for the delayed response. You I wasn't able to harvest any live cultures. I ended up taking 24 5ml samples in search of viable pacman yeast. I didn't come across any viable cultures. :(

Don't worry about the coffee, if you soaked them in vodka or bourbon for awhile then you're golden. I didn't sanitize my coffee out of curiosity.

I plan on kegging this bad boy either tomorrow or next weekend. I will repost my findings with a picture of what I found under the scope. I also want to take a gc/ms headspace sample to see what coffee components made it through the final product. :D

Indeed I do, and I do believe I know where you're going with this..but correct me please if I'm wrong. I use star san to sanitize everything, but the minuet amounts that is residual from the carboy is irrelevant as it sufacting capabilities degrades when beer takes its place in the carboy. That...

    Strawberry lemonade beer

This is my Foreign Extra Stout that I crafted. I decided to rack this to my secondary and I dropped 3.5 oz of coffee grounds without sanitizing it first just as an experiment. Then three weeks later I got this going on! Yayz!

FG is higher than my OG

Here's my problem, I brewed a variant of Cheese's VCCA several weeks ago and I'll post the recipe/specs if needed. I achieved a 1.053 OG and used wyeast 1056 (6th generation) on a stirplate (1 liter). A krausen came and went and a nice yeast cake as normal appeared on the bottom of the...

    Dusseldorf Altbier or American Amber?

I may have to enter it in both and find out then, huh? :ban: Thanks for the help! I honestly never brewed with spalt before. My normal hops I play with is Hersbrucker, Challenger, Northern Brewer, Target, Whitbread Goldings Variety, Cascade, and Amarillo. Haha, which episode was that pjj2ba?

    Dusseldorf Altbier or American Amber?

No it has a subtle NB flavor and aroma. I thought so, but a friend of mine was adamant about if it doesn't contain Spalt or any other noble hop it can't be a spalt.

    Strawberry lemonade beer

I dig the Hefe ideas on this, You may think i'm crazy for suggesting this but use coriander at .5g/l and lemon zest in the boil. Then add strawberries in the secondary and leave in until its ready! Hops I suggest Whitbread Goldings Variety because they're irresistibly fruity in the 15-20 mins...
