Has anybody been able to get a decent price for the SS impeller part. I was quoted $48, but my distributor also said what I have now is rated to 200 degrees. I am thinking maybe the upgrade is not worth it. Thoughts?

Just a little disappointed I ordered a kit (not a sale one) 10 days ago and it still hasn't shipped out. I did not even get an e-mail. I had to go ask and was told by Austin they are behind and it's taking 5 to 7 days to ship....don't think so killers. Too bad my LHBS is soo expensive.

They must be super backlogged I ordered on the 3rd of April and it has not even shipped yet.

I am in the same boat. I have seen some guys mention coconut in secondary, but not even sure about that and if you buy or roast your own coconut. There has to be some reverse engineer genus out there.

Yeah, it's not a bad idea, maybe something internal to the inside of the front collar and attached to the rigidity supports on the lid.

I have a few pre-tower build pics.

I used the old hinges, so they open. I pull it out from the wall a bit and put a towel on top between the wall and the tower to hold it open for me. It is heavy. I put some plywood under the tile on bottom so the lid would not flex and break it all off.
