    Medieval Burnt Mead!

    New to the forum and have a question about burnt mead. Does Champagne yeast produce more or less alcohol then using ale or wine yeast? Plus loving what I am seeing in this thread.

    Hello, from the state of Maine.

    I am from central Maine, Hampden area. I am currently waiting for a pumpkin ale to mature and plan on starting a burnt mead this week or next.

    Hey, Discovered your forum by random searching for new ideas for homebrews. I live in Maine and brew as a hobby using carboys. I am very interested in learning new methods and recipes from you guys and gals. I don't really have a lot more to say now, but will be posting soon. :mug:
