    Nitrogen Regulator with Flow meter

I have an Argon/co2 regulator with a flow meter. It's the one where the ball goes higher as more gas is released. My question is will this work with my nitrogen tank to dispense 25psi? I have no doubt that it will but I want to make sure. I know the regulator has the same connection for the...

Dogfish Head's Palo Santo Marron Brown Ale

Old thread but I thought It was pretty good. I'd like to know their malt bill to try and recreate it. Of course I'd skip the wood aging part but I thought the flavors were fairly complex.

anyone ever replace their burner to a larger one and keep the same regulator?

you'd have to try it to see if you have yello flame issues. Most problems occur when running more than one burner at a time thus a lack of fuel. In that case you'd have to buy one of these. It's awesome. http://www.tejassmokers.com/gasregulators.htm

    Immersion Chiller and Ice

Old thread but Kaiser you are spot on. No D-rest needed with proper pitching rates and proper ferment temp. I try to chill to 45, pitch, let it raise up to 50 and krausen typically forms within 12-18 hours.

Lager Pitching Temp: Can we settle this lager debate?

I know this is an old thread but I do repitch on the old cake several time with good results. After three of four time there gets to be too much yeast and I'll wash it. Take care of your yeast and it will make you good beer. Proper pitching rates and cold fermentation is the key to lagers. I...

    Vienna lager Recipe help

Did you ever brew that beer? I'll be making a Vienna Lager this weekend and I think I'll mash at 152. I typically mash lower on my lagers but I think this style will need a bit more body.

    Nitrogen

Yuri, you're saying that I should carb to my desired level i.e. 1.5 volumes then switch to my high psi nitro reg through my stout tap? I am about to get this stuff and want to save a little cash. It's about $12 to fill my co2 tank and to fill a similarly sized nitro tank. However, Airgas is...

    Nitrogen for stout

Haha, do you run a nitro setup? I think I may go the route of carbing with co2 then switching to a 100% nitro tank to push it through the stout tap at like 30psi. From what I've read this is a pretty common method. Of course I have to get all the stuff first.

"polishing your keg" is more than a clever euphemism

I am also doing this inbetween building my Brutus 10 clone. I can't wait. I got through about 1/3 of a keggle with the medium pad before it was toast. I think I will lighten my touch. Thanks Bobby!
