Before I make the step to start growing

Well like I said before I start growing I'd like to start buying bulk, but I don't want to do this unless I can avoid losing some of my hop as a result of not using them fast enough.

Before I make the step to start growing

I would like to start buying hops in bulk. Now I have read that those who grow their own will freeze their hops and use them throughout the year. Does anyone think there would be a problem with my buying in bulk and freezing them to save on money? Is there any change in the hop...

    Beer Pint Glasses

Does anyone know of a website I can go that carries a variety of micro brewery and craft bear co.s pint glasses. I would like one or two from a company but don't want to pay the additional $8 per glass in shipping if I had to buy them piece meal style.

    The Whole Way

If you have to get away from beer to get away....then I don't want to get away! Again, I'm thinking at least small community so it wouldn't be all by oneself.

This is what I was thinking. Most likely you would have to do this sort of thing in community where someone grows the grain for the brew as well as bread etc. It's hard to think %100 off the grid by yourself. To the second question, I would say neither, really. Just want to get away from it all

Really, I have a friend who wants to sort of "go off the grid" And I was just wondering what it would take to still brew good beer.

Do any of you all know of a book that would take me through the whole process of being completely self sufficient? From choosing and growing your grain and hops to malting and roasting your grains...and on and on.
