    Florida first year hops

Awesome!!! Im pretty lax in my fertilizing i just added 4-4-5 organic fert to the soil and use that once a month. I wouldnt spray the cones with anything because you dont want that getting in your beer. Also ive got a few varieties ill be bringing down myself to let you try.

    Adding spice to beer??

I know all about chipotles. That is not the direction i want for this smoked beer. I used some in a secondary in an imperial stout i took 3rd in a competition with. Im just looking to get a vague spicy/tingling sensation when drinking the beer, not the flavors associated with the peppers.

    Adding spice to beer??

Im going to be making a smoked porter soon and I would like to add a little bit of cayene to the boil or secondary to give the beer a little spicy edge. Think a slight spicy tingle on the tongue is what im shooting for. I do know that spice is a subjective thing and what is spicy for one my not...

    180 on IPAs

I grew up a hop head. My dad always had snpa on hand at all times. He would always pour me a sip or two when i asked for some of it. So i never not knew a love for hoppy beers. Converesly its been a long and slow shift towards appreciating maltier beers for me over the years.

    6 row malt

I just have a mash screen in the bottom of a converted keg as my mash tun and i fly sparge. I use a pump to drain the wort from the tun to the kettle. There is a ball valve underneath the screen that is used to drain the mash.

    6 row malt

So in my experiences the higher gravity beers mosylt people go to make the worse the efficiency. My question is would it be possible to increase the efficiency, of an imperial stout or iipa or any other imperial type, by using a percentage of 6 row malt as part of the base malts. Asking due to 6...
