    Columbus and Simcoe IPA recipe?

    25 hours in, starter still going

    I did a starter with Whitelabs WLP380 (Hefe IV) yeast with 32oz. water and one cup of Light DME. I used two vials because they were out of date and my local supply store said to just pitch them both, they gave them to me for half price. I have been shaking the heck out of it everytime I walk...

    saving yeast from a starter?

    If I make a large starter using a vial of whitelabs yeast, can I split up the yeast after the starter is finnished and use some right away and then put some back in the fridge and save for a few weeks till the next brew day? Or does the yeast all need to be used right away? thanks
