So, I've been getting my new keggle ready for brewing. This has involved some sanding and some washing with Bar Keepers Friend. I noticed tonight that the welds around the couplings appear to be rusting. :eek: I am assuming that this is not normal and is something to cause concern. Thoughts?

So, I was looking at this and wondering if it would be good for making a mash tun. What do you guys and gals think? Any advantage to the plastic coating? Drawbacks?

Just a heads up. B3 (or W3) is having a blowout right now on some overstock bottles. $3 for 6 1.5Ls and $4 for 12 750s. If only they had some champagne bottles at those prices.

While browsing Craigslist, I came across some listings for soda draft machines, a la: Would it be possible to use a machine like this for beer dispensing? Has anyone tried this? I just figured if we can use soda kegs to store the beer, we could use a soda dispenser to get it out.
