    I use bottled spring water from the market. A friend used distilled water but the mead tasted flat, I would recommend against that.

    Looks like the same recipe I used for what I am calling my Autumn Mead. Looks about the same color and consistency that I have as well. I would say just leave it alone and go in for the long haul. Let us know how much better it gets over time. Joe
