Wife and I will be driving from Atlanta to Baton Rouge Christmas and plan on making a stop in New Orleans to "re-fuel". I know Cafe du Monde is closed :( So we are looking for another option. Don't plan on spending a ton of money or getting dressed. Just a cool diner or something of the sort...

This may not be the right place for this question, but I know someone on here may have an answer. Looking at opening up a nano in Georgia and have found a great spot, but the area has a lot of surrounding schools and churches. I know for serving alcohol, you have to be at least 100 yards away...

Been away from brewing for over a year, so I am maybe a bit rusty. Colleagues were after me to brew a big beer for the winter time and decided on a RIS. Being that Georgia has been having some very freakish weather (20 F on Monday, 60F on Sunday???) temperatures have been a little difficult to...

    Fermentation Time

What is the longest that you have had any beer still in primary? I brewed a batch of Biere de Garde and places in primary in 3/25/13. I have been extremely busy everyday, I am a chef and we are starting a restaurant. It won't be until another 4-5 weeks until I have time to bottle.

I have the owners of the restaurant interested in me brewing some beer. Unfortunately with the laws in Georgia, and I am pretty sure everywhere else, you need a brewing license. But do you need a license if you are not selling it as a product, but as an ingredient of a dish? I have talked to...
