I pitched about 2 cups of White Labs 001 California Ale Yeast slurry into my IPA two days ago. The heat has been off and the temperature is hovering around 64-66 °F. It seems to be happily fermenting.
I've read that over pitching by this amount doesn't hurt anything and the cooler fermenting...
