    Iodopher Solution

    off topic slightly... on another site I read that using iodopher on plastic fermenters will put a coat on them that wiil not allow them to ferment the beer. Anyone familiar with that??

    My bottle cleaning technique

    I would avoid washing the bottles with detergent. It will leave a residue in the bottles. Other than that, if it works for you it appears fine. I rinse my bottles immediately after using, then sanitize with BTF Iodophor when ready to bottle a new batch. Cheers, Robert

    I like the idea of a PDA program. The computer programs that I have l looked at are to complex for me as a beginner. I would like something that I could grow with.

    Just put a batch in the bottles

    I bottled my first batch about 3 weeks ago. Tried one bottle earlier this week. Tasted good, except bitter. I assume that was the hops. By the way it was a pale ale so I believe it's supposed to have a hoppy taste.
