    help needed...

Thanks for the input. Now I have to figure out what kind of kegs I can use. The adapter from the c02 tank is cylindrical and seems to rotate into place and lock?? It also has a white handled lever which I'm assuming is used to 'lock' it in place once everything is in place. Its pictured above...

Hey everyone, So as most of us around here I have been wanting to keg for quite some time now, but just never had the funds/space available to take on such a project. Low and behold I ran across this on craigslist this afternoon, and it ended up in the back of my scion on the way home from...

My first passion is R/C stuff, but the homebrew makes the time out in the garage just that much more enjoyable ;) RCGroups.com is an awesome site for rc stuff. What kinda pack are you looking for, I have at least one 3s 2200mah pack I could give you to get you hooked on the power they make...

    What are you drinking now?

Marin Brewing Co. San Quentin's Breakout Stout Dark, tasty goodness! Not as good as when one visits the brewpub in Larkspur, but still not too shabby for a $3 tall boy.

    My First Brew

Congrats on the first brew! I live in California, so snow is somewhat of an oddity to me ;) I can tell you that I use ice and water bath and it takes 2-3 hours depending on the weather. If you use the bath tub, you can keep topping up with cold water. Just make sure not to get any in the wort...

Been a While Guys - Batch 3 on the Stove!

IIRC, I added my hops 1 or 2 weeks before I was ready to bottle. Like I said before, just make sure they settle (the dry hops) somewhat before you move to bottling. gp125racer

    questions -- brewing a 1/2 batch (2.5gal)

I have an electric stove, so I cant do a full boil yet either, but it doesnt stop me from doing a full 5 gallon batch. Take your primary fermentation vessel and fill it with 5 gallons of water, and mark it permanently. This way you have a visual cue for future reference (you'll see why in a...
