    the yeast is: safbrew ale yeast s-33 by fermentis, 11.5g pkt. i can get more dme or whatever you would recommend, trying to go with something simple for my first attempt, thanks for info in your reply re a 2 gallon batch.:mug:

    cheers everyone, i have not yet brewed anything, but i have a fermenter, yeast, dme, and dextrose on the way, should be here in a couple of days :ban: i know there is more i need, but will post a list of what i got and then ask for advice as to what else i need before i start.:mug:
