    DIY Tap Handle?

not to get too far off topic, but they keg wine? i assume they use something like nitrogen to push and keep the kegs at very low pressure to limit/eliminate carbonation? that's awesome!

    No-drill enclosed kegerator

option 1: go to the back of the fridge, look near the top for rubber plugs for running an ice maker water/power line. you can pop those out and run the gas line. i have power for my temp controller running through one of these. option 2: the "hump" near the compressor on the bottom is usually a...

    PWM vs PID for BK

i went PID over PWM so i could heat water in both my HLT and BK to specific temps at the start of my brew day. the BK water is my mash water, the HLT is the HERMS water and then the sparge water. i just use the PID in manual mode on the BK when i'm ready to boil.

    Electric HLT qsuestion

the bigger the SSR is over the required size of the load, the less heat it will generate and the longer it will function. i'd go with a 30 or 40 amp since the price difference isn't very big. for the thermowell, i believe auber does 1/4" and 1/2" so you'll need to get a weldless kit to match...
