    Thanks for all the advice. I put the lid back on and added a drain hose thats only 1 foot long, have the bottle for the airlock, sitting ontop the bucket now, looks like with 1 foot of hose it can push the foam through. Hope it continues too, man what a Bastard!!

    Oh we arent dissapointed with the NB kits, not at all. Just didnt make sense on the steeping instruction.     After we bottle questions

    OK, we have our batches in the bottles. They have been bottle curing for the appropriae times etc. So what is the best way to store these bottles now? I have them stored in a closet at about 65 degrees. is it best to leave them like that? or put them in the fridge? any opinions?

    Advice on brewpots needed

    we are looking at a brewpot and cooker sold by Bass Pro Shops. Its actually a turkey fryer. Its 30 qts and stainless steel with a copper faucet on the side. is there any harm with the faucet being copper? its a great deal for 100 bucks for both. Anyone have a opinion?

    what are good temperatures to bottle condition a IPA or Plae Ale?

    We are brewing this beer on blind faith. Have never had it, but tasted it between the primary and secondary and at the time of bottling. we were so impressed we are brewing another batch this weekend.
